My $10,000 Health and Productivity Turning Point

I still recall the morning I was crouched outside my work building, leaning against the sunlit door with my head in my hands, trying to gather enough sensory coherence to function.

A coworker found me and offered to drive me home.

I was experiencing more pain and nausea than many people—thankfully—will experience in a lifetime.  Yet for me, it was another damn day of utter suffering.  Scraping for any fragment of energy just to get through the bare minimum.  Even reaching for the glass of water in front of me felt as difficult as climbing a 100ft chainlink fence.  Forget it.

I was trying everything I could to get myself back on track: super clean diets, yoga, chiropractic, acupuncture, hot-cold therapy, meditation, filtered water, air purifiers, even changing jobs to minimize stress (which actually only minimized my income). At one point, we even considered selling our home in case there was some hidden toxin.

But nothing worked.

My Breaking Point: How Burnout Took Over My Life

I had a bad taste in my mouth about seeking help from formal healthcare, but I needed to approach it from every angle.  So I completely surrendered—putting aside every reservation and making peace with historical failures—and walked into the doctor’s office with patience, openness, and willingness.

I spent 6 months bouncing between specialists, undergoing brain scans, swallowing handfuls of meds and supplements, and paying thousands of dollars out-of-pocket—over $10,000 in one year alone.

Near the end of that year, I found myself in an exam room with a neurologist, feeling 0% better than when I started.

She reviewed my case notes and shrugged. “You’re doing everything you can. There’s really nothing left to try—except maybe this medication.”

She explained the aggressive prescription: the increasing dosage, the lifetime dependency, and the list of side effects that could fill a dictionary. My body rejected the idea on every level.

I didn’t need to mute my symptoms. I needed to understand their cause. My body was screaming for help—and if I suffocated the signal, I’d never find the root cause.  And the problem would always be lurking.

And here’s the kicker:

After spending $10,000 out-of-pocket in a single year, and another $600 on this very appointment, here was her parting wisdom:

“Well… just make sure you’re drinking enough water.”

My Turning Point

That moment broke something in me.

It was a new level of discouragement.  Yet the insult was deep enough to strengthen my determination to get myself out of this.  It fueled my rebellion.  My anti authority.  My refusal to accept the, “Well that’s too bad, it’s just how it is.”

I knew in my soul there was an answer, but I didn’t know how to find it. Clearly, spending more time, money, and my very limited energy in a clinic was not going to lead me anywhere new.

It wasn’t as easy as needing to listen to my body:  I was listening.  I did ask it what it needed. I was kind to it. I tried to work with it. I knew my pain was a signal; that my body was trying to tell me something vital. I didn’t want to mute that signal with pills—I wanted to decode it. But no matter how hard I was trying, I couldn’t find the language to truly understand what it needed, nor the language to even ask the right questions to find it.

Not knowing how to find it did not stop me from looking one bit.  I scoured every resource I could find—Google, books, specialists, health summits, cited journal articles within journal articles, alternative therapies—and came up empty-handed. Everything pointed me back to the same conventional, mainstream advice that wasn’t working.

I felt like I was standing in a long hallway full of doors – but in a very wrong part of the building. I’d recognize the right door when I saw it.
I just needed to find a stairwell that would take me to the right floor.

I didn’t expect the answer to show up in a neat little package, but what I didn’t realize was that it would take the orchestration of the universe, my relentless curiosity, and my persistence to uncover it. It would take me following one thread to another, experimenting with ideas and frameworks, meeting the right people at the exact right time—people who would hand me the link or book or conversation that would open the next door.

And slowly, that path began to reveal itself.

Building the Holistic Productivity Pathway

I relied on my relentless curiosity, my resourcefulness, and my bullish persistence. One thread lead to the next—reading, experimenting, learning. I had to be a lifelong learner to even see the pieces of this puzzle. And I had to have a growth mindset to stay open to the “weird” things—like medical intuitives and energy work—that started to cross my path.

One connection led me to another, one conversation led to a book or a training, until finally I stumbled into a world of answers that no search engine would have ever shown me. The universe had to bring me there, step by step.- like meeting the right person who would send me the link to the training that would eventually lead to my Belief Coding® accreditation.

I learned to tune into the language my body used when I was out of alignment. The more I followed this rhythm-based way of living—balancing structure with flow, honoring both stillness and movement—the more I reclaimed not just my health, but my animation, my spark.

It wasn’t an overnight miracle. It was like piecing together a puzzle—one that required both science and soul, practicality and wonder. But little by little, I found a way back to myself.

That search—frustrating, exhausting, and relentless—was shaping me into someone who could relate to the hopelessness, helplessness, depression, and loss of identity when you’re so unwell, you’re not yourself anymore.  It shaped me into the guide I am now.  It shaped me into someone who could see the whole path – including the way out.

YOUR BREAKTHROUGH with Belief Coding®

This journey led me to Belief Coding®, the modality I wish I’d had that year I did everything I could for my poor, suffering body. I wish I’d had the vehicle that lets me speak directly to pain, to uncover what it’s trying to tell me so I can actually heal, not just suppress my body’s cries for help.

Belief Coding® is intimate, personal, even spiritual. In a session, you time travel, interact with your pain, release the emotional root cause completely, and often silence the pain signal entirely. You meet your true self—your subconscious—and learn how your body has been speaking to you all along. It’s like shedding the walls of a prison you didn’t even know you were in, and stepping into freedom.  It can be used to break free from prisons and energy leaks, like pain, imbalance relationships, misaligned jobs, and can be used to draw your desires closer to you: your health, wealth, and joy.
